Time Management Advice
One of the biggest struggles in school that I had to overcome was finding the time to set up a schedule to where I can get all of my assignments in while maintaining the rest of my life. The best schedule that I found that works for me was to get one post in for my discussions by Tuesday, get my live lectures done by Thursday and everything else done by Saturday or Sunday. Of course, this doesn’t always work out with my ever changing work schedule, but modifications to a school schedule can always be made. In the end, you have to keep on top of what you need to do for school and make sure that all of your work gets turned in on time. Use a planner or a calendar. Use a phone alarm set up for school.
Classroom Navigation Advice
Classroom navigation is easy. The only thing that you really have to remember is that virtually anything can be found by returning to the home tab. From there, you can find the library or anything else that you are looking for. The home screen is great for returning to what you need to do and finding other stuff that needs to be done, like class work.
Grade Advice
Even when you stay on top of your schedule there are times when you fall behind or need to get extra points to maintain your goals. If you need extra points aside from the daily checkpoints, you can always ask your professor if you can redo assignments to try to pull in extra points to boost your grade. The best thing that you can do to maintain a good grade is to read everything before you do it. Read it twice if you have to.
Relationship Advice
One of the best things that you can do in school is make friends. Your classmates will become your network in school and possibly in life. The best way to make friends… talk. Bounce thoughts off of each other in your posts. Make study groups. It is worth it. You can also join clubs to meet new people.
